Amrita brings nearly two decades of experience with diverse players in the Education and Social sectors. She is currently focused on building and scaling up the Education, Social & ESG practice at Deininger.
Amrita is a seasoned executive search professional who views herself as a brand ambassador for her clients, adept at articulating their unique identities to attract the right talent. With a deep understanding of each client’s context and challenges, she emphasizes the importance of aligning cultural fit with functional competence. She believes meaningful, value-driven leadership drives successful transformation and sees a growing trend of managers seeking purpose-driven organizations. She is also the author of the gripping thriller novel, ‘Hiraeth’. She is an avid reader and an animal rights advocate.
Most recently she developed the Education practice across academic, non-academic and emerging leadership roles in another leading search firm. Across her career, she has been part of the founding and growth journeys of several organizations. She brings in-depth understanding of the industry and has established market connects, having held diverse portfolios ranging from setting up departments, leading fund-raising initiatives, managing senior government & corporate stakeholders, and building successful research centers.
Throughout her career, Amrita has consistently demonstrated success in driving sales, business growth and creating impact in the Education (Indian School of Business, ICICI Securities, Career Launcher, IMS Learning Resources, etc.) and Social (WaterHealth International) sectors.
